The advanced settings of the camera gimbal are mainly to set the movement characteristics of the gimbal, mainly in three aspects.
1, the maximum speed of the tilt axis of the gimbal
value 1-100. This parameter affects the corresponding speed of the pan/tilt lever.
When the value is set to 1, the pitching speed of the gimbal is 1 degree per second when the gimbal lever is moved. If it takes a minute and a half to turn from horizontal to vertical. When to use this limit value? When you need to move accurately within a small range, this pitch can make the picture very stable.
When the value is set to 100, the tilt speed of the gimbal is about 90 degrees per second when the gimbal lever is moved. This change is very drastic and not suitable for most scenes.
So how appropriate is the maximum speed setting of the tilt axis of the gimbal? One of the most important points is the “feel”. Some people have very precise control of each joystick, and the movements of their fingers are very fine. This group of people can set it. Slightly larger, around 50. For novices, the fine control of the fingers has not been established. In order to take a stable picture, this parameter needs to be set lower, and it is recommended to be around 20.
2, pitch start/stop slowly
This setting controls the movement of the gimbal after the finger leaves the pitch lever. We generally think that when my finger leaves the gimbal tilt lever, the gimbal should stop immediately. If the picture you are shooting is caused by the change of gimbal pitch, then the sudden stop of the gimbal will cause discomfort to the audience Only a gentle stop can greatly reduce this discomfort.
The parameters of this setting are 0-30. When set to 0, it means that the pan/tilt will stop immediately after the pan/tilt dial stops turning. When it is set to 30, the gimbal will still inertially move the gimbal for about 3 seconds after the finger stops pitching the gimbal dial.
It should be noted that when the tilt start/stop is set to 30, the 100 end limit value of the maximum speed of the gimbal’s tilt axis will be affected.
3, gimbal pitch limit
The only option for this is “Extendable up to 30 degrees”. If the gimbal is too upward, it is possible that the camera will shoot the blades. Second, the aircraft will actively shut down in order to protect the camera from colliding with the top of the fuselage during fast flight. This one. Therefore, in this item, more sky angles can be obtained during steady flight.
